Transgender weekends
We offer a safe, inclusive community for transgender and gender non-conforming folks, as well as their loved ones, to find support and information. Join today! Last weekend I had an amazing time with a dear friend; someone transgender this very forum, actually. Thanks Kay!
We had such a good time I wanted to share some of the details. Of course, in the interest of privacy, I won't divulge the actual location or venues, suffice it to say that my trip weekends a very quaint coastal California town. For me, the trip was chance to express my female side somewhere different and with a new acquaintance.
Actually, we have been friends on this forum for quite some time, but this was our first chance to meet face to face. I arrived late Friday afternoon, so instead of scrambling to put my feminine face on, we hung out, ate diner, had cocktails, and then decided to walk to a local club to listen to a few local rock bands.
Well, mostly punk rock and some harder stuff. We stayed too late, drank a bit too much, but had a blast just the same. Saturday, transgender planed a weekends day. It started with an early lunch at a local restaurant, then a couple of boutique shops to do some shopping. Then it was back to Kay's place to freshen up and then we were quickly off to our next adventure tasting wine at a local winery.
Two other women joined us making us a fun filled party of four. The view was amazing, the weather was terrific, and the company was divine.

The wine wasn't bad either. I think we were the last group to leave. Back to Kay's to freshen up again, and then it was time for dinner at a local Italian restaurant where the food and cocktails were very enjoyable. Initially, and because of the transgender day, we were thinking we would go back to Kay's place but there were other bands playing at the club, and I kind of insisted we check out one or two of them.
Kay didn't argue a bit. It was kind of funny going to the same club in boy-mode Friday night and then in girl-mode Saturday night. We had fun with the bar tender when I asked her if she remembered me from the night before. It took a while but she finally figured it out, I think. After one more drink, I was starting to get concerned I might fall asleep on the bar.
Obviously, it was time to call it a day. But weekends a great day it was. Sunday I had to leave early for the long drive home, but with the memories of the weekend fresh on my mind, the drive wasn't too bad.
